I never did post my murrelet from the summer, did I? Came out alright considering how the whole heart thing left me with about half the time I needed to get it done for the fair, but get it done I did, and it did get into the juried show.

The Humboldt County Fair is coming up and I’m kinda still working on my entry, even though it’s a whole weekend past the original submission deadline. Yeah. Well, whatever, I’m doing it and that’s all that matters. I’m doing a watercolor of a marbled murrelet in its breeding feathers. This is what they look like in their seafaring feathers, all black and white like an orca. I will post a pic of the painting (and some progress shots) after the fair is over.
