If you’ve been following my blog a while, you might know that I used to do a thing called Monster Monday, which is exactly what it sounds like: I’d post a drawing of a monster on Monday.  I’ve taken all those old monsters and started working on some new ones, and now they have their very own blog. It was going to be a Tumblr blog, but I had some unholy trouble trying to get the domain name to take, so I gave up and stuck with the Wordpress installation I had already set up. I think I’ll end up having more flexibility this way, anyhow.  The plan is to post a monster a day, and while I’m getting into the habit I’m putting up the old ones in between the new ones. That way I’ll have a nice buffer in case I get sick or abducted by aliens or, y’know, whatever. Daily!  Come see the monsters!

My buddy Kate went to Savannah on a vacation and mentioned something about cupcake hunting. An image not unlike mushroom hunting popped into my head, only with little pink cupcakes growing out of the ground instead of mushrooms. I guess the truth is that they were tracking down some legendary red velvet cupcakes in the area. I drew her a picture anyway.
