A dark photo of my desk at 11 at night on wednesday. I immediately made this the background on my phone, and out turns out each of the five screens is pretty well-composed.

So, what’s with the diecast VW Bug? I’ll give you a hint- it’s a reference model.

Remember that fish balloon drawing I was working on the other day? It’s done, and it’s my very first submission to Threadless! What is Threadless, you ask? It’s a perpetual t-shirt design contest. Artists submit designs, and each month they print a select few, based on their score, and the number of “I’d buy it” votes they get from the community.
So now I’m on a mission to get mine printed. Will you assist? You will? Thank you!
Please head on over to Threadless and vote for my shirt!  Click “I’d Buy it as a shirt” first before you give it a number score, otherwise it’ll automatically move you to another shirt to score! You’re not obligated to buy it, but if it gets printed they’ll send you an email.
If it gets printed I’ll get a royalty and some prizes (in the form of t-shirts, I believe), and all of the glory and honor that come with getting a shirt printed at Threadless. Which means a lot to me- I love their shirts and wear them a lot, and it took me five years to finally get up the courage to submit some artwork myself. So now, here I am, and it wasn’t so scary after all :D

I’m working on plans for the year today. I always make a lot of resolutions, and they often revolve around things like finishing more work, but this year I’m setting tiny incremental goals so I have a tangible way to track my progress. It’s going to be a productive year!
