So, I found a new name generator that’s a little less Anglo-centric. Also I didn’t do one of these on Thursday. But, onward and upward! I think the next one will have to be in some kind of real medium.

It occoured to me today that the name generator might be biased in favor of Angliscized names. Gonna have to keep an eye on that.

So, it’s not exactly a sketch. I have these moments that I would call art slumps except that I’m crocheting. I really like this whole amigurumi thing I keep finding on the craft sites I troll.

I can’t believe I resisted doodling in Flash for so long. There’s something about the line quality you get with the pressure-sensitive paintbrush that is so sweet, and I haven’t been able to duplicate it in Photoshop.

On the re_image commuity on LJ, somebody asked us to “redline” a couple of drawings (redlining is going over the original in red, correcting what are usually anatomical errors). This was a suggestion I was surprised nobody had made, but I’m particularly amused by my doodle that accompanied it:
