Called in sick to the TV farm on Wednesday, and spent the entire day sleeping. At least I’m getting getting-sick out of the way before the Christmas maelstrom hits. But, dangit I have work to do! I’m getting some of it done insofar as I’ve been adding new and exciting stuff to my cafepress store at a rate greater than most of the rest of the year (which is to say I’ve done it three times in three days and updated all the old sections with the new products), but that’s still not quite where I’d like to be right now. And my comic is suffering.

I think I’m not sick so much as exhausted. Well, there are a few days off on the horizon. Stay on target…

Today’s comic is kind of related to today’s Holidailies prompt; my family never did Advent calendars when I was a kid, but a lot of my friends did. I think they’re neat, particularly the ones that are permanent and meant to be refilled and reused every year. Someday I want to make one!

The only problem with having a nice relaxing weekend is that it means I don’t get nearly as much work done as I hope to have. Oh well, we got our Christmas tree, and went to a lovely party, so it’s not like the weekend was wasted, per se. And I did draw, like this cute Dorothy, who I think will end up being part of a series for some shirts and stuff.

And now to get a comic together for tomorrow morning!
