When I started my site about poetry, there came a point where I couldn't write anymore, and I almost left blogging. Then I accepted the fact that creativity happens when it happens, and I went with the things that my mind was actively interested in writing about, which is why I'm all techie right now. But the way I see it is I'm still writing, and when the time comes, I'll still have my platform to be artistic in writing again.
