And, we’re down again. I’ve got a feeling this time it’s pretty permanent with my old host, seeing as how they’re not willing to help me fix the problem. That, and they think I’m a spammer, so it’s almost like we’re mutually agreeing to end our relationship.

So, we’re back with the mess again.

And I have to decide whether or not I even need hosting anymore. I’m mostly just blogging now anyway; the combination of Blogger and Flickr is enough to keep me doing that, so I’m wondering why I need to pay for the same thing I could be getting for free. There’s the issue of my needing a portfolio, and I’m considering getting another domain name for that and starting from scratch.

I don’t know quite yet what I’m going to do. I think for now the best thing is to do nothing- All these problems started with receiving an obscene amount of email bounces because someone is using my domain as an alias to send spam. If I have no email server, maybe that’ll just stop. We’ll see, I don’t really know how it works, so it’s hard to figure out how to stop it (which is what I was asking my host to help me with, but they refused. I’m am very not happy with the way Canaca has treated me.) Besides, after having been on disability for the last month, I don’t really have the money to do any web stuff right now, so it’ll have to wait until I’m back on my feet. Heh, literally!

So pardon my dust for now. I’ll be fixing this mess pretty soon.
