You may have noticed something a little different around here, unless you’re getting this via the RSS feed. The sketchblog now resides on the front page, mostly because it’s the part of the site that is updated most often, and they say fresh content on the front page keeps people coming back.

So!

This means a number of changes for the sketchblog, foremost being it isn’t just the sketchblog anymore, although I’ll still be posting sketches and doodles here. And of course, with any new change there is the promise of increased frequency of posts. I’ll also be using the blog for administrative posts like this one, and also for posting crafty things I make (which I was doing before, but they didn’t really belong on the sketchblog). I haven’t decided how I’m going to tag posts yet- Blogger’s label system is still in beta and I haven’t been invited yet, and Technorati seems a little clunky to me- but eventually you’ll be able to filter posts, so if you don’t care about what I’m knitting you can skip those posts.

In other news, it’s been four days since the last script kiddie attack, so maybe that’s over. If not, somebody please email or leave a comment letting me know it’s happened again.
