This is a redux of the first painting I ever did with painter8 (which can be found here). Improving upon the background, making the pig more realistic, and playing with new brushes are some of the goals here. I’m still not totally happy with the foliage, but it’s an improvement.
I don’t know where I’m going with this one, and I almost abandoned it completely except that it’s a real benchmark for my skill in digital art, and for that it deserves to be finished.

I had a very serious hard drive crash this weekend, and I had to reformat my one drive and reinstall Windows. Before I did it I hooked the drive up to Gil’s computer and managed to recover just about everything in “My Documents,” which only recently has come to include my art directories.
